Art continues to be a favored hobby of mine. I discovered my fondness of painting through studying anatomy and physiology in college. As a true procrastinator, I found myself doodling anatomical structures, (perfecting my sketches for no particular reason) rather than studying through my notecards. This helped me memorize whatever it was I was studying at the time. Sketches turned into paintings. Paintings turned into more paintings…a lot more paintings.
A lot of my art work has also been influenced from traveling in Australia. The aboriginal culture is fascinating and beautiful. I love incorporating a similar style into some of my pieces.
